These were all taken from our upstairs balcony at around 7am on Wednesday. I was still in my nightie and it was freezing. I was so pleased to get such great views, the breeze on last two mornings has taken the balloons in different directions (over the city and into the desert). Today is the last day, they will do a "night glow" but I'm not sure that we will want to join the crowds to see it. It will be very crowded because it's Eid Al Adha (major Muslim occasion and holiday weekend). I hope you are all having a nice restful holiday.

What fantastic photos. Caught up with all your news now that we are back home again. How interesting the Blog is and what a great effort. We loved the "Little angels" wearing the santa caps. We are finally into sun and on 1st JAn we had our first swim for the season. An eamil is coming seperately. Love Andy and Raewyn
Hi Andy and Raewyn
Thanks for the comments and the email. It was great to get your news. Getting that photo of the boys was a hoot. Jake, as you know is really cuddly and he would lean on Scott with that cute smile on his face. Of course Scott would them thump him! (little brothers can't get that close to a teenager)....Jake would thump back....I yell and we all try again. Hope this doesn't shatter your image of "little angles" it was actually pretty funny.
