What a great holiday we had, it was so good to catch up with everyone. We enjoyed every moment of our time in NZ. We have so many great memories and this trip was extra special because we did a lot of traveling around our own great country and, well, its just beautiful.
Our trip back was pretty good, we were lucky to get all the way back considering how full the flights were and that we only had standby tickets!
My body was on NZ time for a few days and I was getting up way to early, I was outside gardening at sunrise (6am) for a few mornings. The neighbours must have thought I was crazy. At least I did something constructive and now the garden looks a lot better. It looks like our favorite palm is going to die, it looks very sick and I'm sure its just the heat getting to it. We were warned it was not the best choice by one gardener but went with the recommendation of the bloke that sold it to us - buyer beware I guess! Still, it that's all we have to worry about then lifes not to bad.
Today we are off to the Mall of the Emirates. Got to get school shoes for the boys, haircuts and a new school bag for Scott. Time to get ourselves organised for the new school year.
